Vulnerabilities in Russian Government Information Systems
More than 1,200 vulnerabilities have been discovered in 100 operating government information systems, with most classified as high or critical level.
A recent report by the Russian Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) reveals a troubling state of the country's IT systems security. According to the report, 47% of organizations operating within critical information infrastructure have critical vulnerabilities in their IT systems. This leaves Russian key institutions—including energy supply, transportation, financial sector, and government bodies—exposed to cyberattacks.
